The Eye of the Bedlam Bride is the sixth book in Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series. After the shocking conclusion of the seventh floor, Carl, Princess Donut, and the surviving crawlers enter the eighth floor, a strange recreation of Earth’s final days before its collapse. Ghostly remnants of humanity continue living their ordinary lives, while legendary monsters occupy locations associated with their earthly folklore.

The crawlers are given a new challenge: they must capture six powerful monsters and turn them into battle cards. The stronger the monsters they collect, the stronger their potential battle deck. Their opponents will have powerful decks of their own, making the selection and capture of monsters essential to survival.

Carl and Donut’s ultimate target is Shi Maria, a terrifying creature who was once married to a missing god. Her special attack can drive victims insane, earning her the name the Bedlam Bride. Capturing her, however, does not mean she can be controlled. Alongside the monster hunt, forgotten gods, old grudges, and the dungeon’s rapidly deteriorating AI create additional dangers on the eighth floor.
