A Doctor for People with Special Needs is the third volume in a memoir series about the life of the author entitled “Out of Egypt.” In this book he describes his medical education in Egypt, his postgraduate training in America and his work with people with special needs in Canada and the U.S.A. His involvement in school integration of children with disabilities in Canada and his participation with various organizations and services in both Central and Southern California for over four decades is described in detail. He includes over 180 documents and pictures, including some of the hundreds of letters that children and their families whom he cared for and cared about sent him for over thirty years.
